Can't beat the jumbo pretzel and beer cheese! Best one in Springfield hands down. The restaurant itself is cool with a bunch of neon signs and Rt.66 memorabilia. Staff have always been great and attentive even during busy events outside the regular dining experience.

Came to visit Motorheads for dinner while in Springfield on a work trip. I visited on a Thursday night and from outside I had no idea how much this place had to offer! I figured I would be waiting awhile based on the parking lot but actually walked right in and found plenty of bar seating as I was solo. It was cool to see all of the old Route 66 photos on the bar top giving a glimpse into the history of the area. The wait staff was attentive and Malory was very helpful in answering any questions I had about the menu and local craft beer selection. I had the salmon that was on special paired with the house IPA. The salmon was cooked well and delicious. In the next room there was a large dance floor with a stage and fully packed with people line dancing! Everyone seemed to be having a great time and witnessed some more of the experienced dancers teaching others. There was also a museum that I was unable to check out this visit so will definitely plan to come back. All said, it's definitely worth a stop if you are in the area or passing through!

Part restaurant part museum... I almost forgot about this place it's one of my favorite stops whenever I'm around and I thought I reviewed it by now. And obviously not. I haven't seen the live music but I'm sure it's a great venue with plenty of parking and food to eat and memorabilia to walk off a big meal. This place used to offer a yelp check in special of a draft or a cup of chili. I had them both and I prefer the beer more than the chili. Psst. Another local bar/restaurant owner also endorsed this place also especially for the chili. I've also experienced weekend lunch crowd and evening dinner here. I've been lucky to get well trained servers. Someone that professionally took our order and made sure the drinks were always available. 35/2024 Food 5 my last two orders were chicken dinner and pulled pork sandwich Ambiance 5 all kinds of space to roam after eating both inside and outside Service 5 Good service in general overall. Location 5 good parking lot Value 5. Daily specials

There are billboards for a Route 66 museum off exit 90. We stopped in, and it is just a room in their bar. It is not really organized and seems an afterthought. In 2026, route 66 will be 100 years. They had t shirts for sale in a gift shop, but they were very overpriced.

I stopped here to wait out a summer storm while traveling Route 66. It was practically perfect! Great service. I enjoyed the cheeseburger and fries. The watermelon mojito was amazing. The establishment had great decor. Don't forget the gift shop!
